35 years in ministry, 26 years in leadership, 22 years equipping, 20 years preaching and teaching, multiple degrees and certifications, and hundreds of hours of research and training, coupled with life experiences have given Dr. Renetta S Watson the tools to fulfill her purpose, walk out destiny, enjoy life and be deemed 'THE Equipper".
Her mission in life is to share her wisdom. knowledge, skills, and giftings with others and use the tools she's been given to equip as many people as she can.
Despite being rapped, molested, homeless multiple times, pregnant in her teens, and many other things life threw at her, Renetta remained determined to continue her education and give her son a different experience. Dr. Renetta has PHD in Ministry Leadership, she has alo studied Human Services with a concentration in Child and Family Studies, Business Management, and Business Administration. She also graduated from the State of IL Department of Human Service Leadership Management program and is a nationally Certified Christian Counselor, Church Consultant, Christian Life Coach.
Renetta grew up attending church and began serving in ministry at the age of 13 (her mother would not let her serve until she became a teenager). In addition to her years of ministry experience, Renetta has completed 7 years of formal ministerial training and is an ordained Pastor and Elder and licensed minister, evangelist, and missionary. Her ministry training expands across denominations, race, and economic statuses. She has served, led, trained, and ministered in churches that had 15 members as well as those that had 2500. She has been blessed to sing in front of thousands in venues like the Dallas Symphony and America's Dome.
Her service to her community includes being a big sister, mentor for the ATO program in Dallas, overseeing youth programs at the Dream Center in her hometown and numerous hours volunteering at community outreach events over the years. During the pandemic Dr. Renetta helped pioneer and oversee a program that gave out over 10 million meals throughout the state of Missouri. She was a part of the executive team and had over 100 employees under her.
Renetta has published 3 books and there are more on the way. Her first book Encouragement in the Storm is a collection of words of encouragement that Renetta began writing to her classmates while in college. Her second book Developing Your Prayer Print is a guide to leaving your mark in prayer. Her third book REAL8 gives you 8 principles for creating and maintaining healthy relationships.
She is the mother of one biological son, a professional basketball player oversees, and two beautiful granddaughters. She also has adopted spiritual sons and daughters.
In addition to equipping people, Renetta loves to play and laugh and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
